Upon successful completion of the programme, aspirants will earn linguistic proficiency, critical and aesthetic appreciation ability as well as multicultural competence. BA Arabic graduates can avail employability in various fields of education, research, translations, tourism, journalism, I.T., media, hospitality and many more. At the end of the programme the student is expected to:
- Develop the language skills in Arabic- reading, writing, speaking and listening.
- Acquire necessary skills to communicate in Arabic
- Possess knowledge of commercial, communicative and business Arabic.
- Gain basic competence in both Arabic language and literature.
- Develop essential skills in translation.
- Understand the principal literary topologies in Arabic prose and poetry
- Understand various topics of literary, historical, political and cultural perspectives of Arabic language and literature.
- Acquire adequate knowledge about classical and modern genres of Arabic language and literature.
