The Bachelor of Arts (BA) Afzal-ul-Ulama in Arabic is an undergraduate program that focuses on providing a comprehensive education in the Arabic language, classical and modern Arabic literature, Islamic studies, and related cultural contexts. This program is tailored for students aiming to gain a profound understanding of Arabic as used in religious, literary, and scholarly contexts. It is particularly suitable for those who wish to pursue careers in teaching, research, translation, or further studies in Arabic and Islamic studies. This program is designed to develop skilled graduates capable of contributing to academic, professional, and cultural fields that require expertise in Arabic and Islamic knowledge.

Towards the end of the program, learners will :

Develop a deeper understanding of the Islamic teachings from Arabic texts. Develop an ability to effectively communicate both orally and verbally in Arabic
Develop self-confidence and skills for working independently and in a team
Have a foundation on literary theories, movements and history of Arabic literature
Develop the ability to critically look at concepts, beliefs and ideas in society, while also learning to critically analyze texts and cultural artifacts
Have an increase in awareness of the general issues prevailing in society
